We participate as volunteers in this new program to provide eye exams to
infants (6-12 months of age) at NO CHARGE.
The infant see program was developed because many children are missing
an essential
component of well-baby care. By assessing infants at this
stage, we can prevent and reduce the threat of serious vision impairments
through early
detection. Call for an appointment for your child's free eye
health examination.

Diabetes is a disease that interferes with the body's ability to use and
store sugar and can cause many health problems. One, called diabetic
retinopathy, can weaken and cause changes in the small blood vessels
that nourish your eye's retina, the delicate, light sensitive lining of the
back of the eye. These blood vessels may begin to leak, swell, and
develop brush-like branches.
If left untreated, diabetic retinopathy can cause blindness. However, an
estimated 95% of this blindness can be prevented with treatment. That
is why it is vitally important to have your eyes checked regularly, even if
you have no symptoms.
